In Turkey and other countries with a hamam culture, the hamam (bathhouse) usually uses soft, thin towels (known as 'fouta' in French). Using the screen printing technique, we can print the hammam towels. With a special ink, we remove the color from the cloth. The name/text is permanent and will not fade after washing. The nice thing about printing is that we can print the name or text up to 100 cm. This technique will always adhere well to the fabric, so you will never wash it out again. You can choose from 3 different fonts. If you have a specific font or, for example, a heart or other small image, that can also be realized.

Printing a hamam towel is often confused with embroidering a hamam towel, but embroidering a hamam towel is a completely different technique. With embroidery, you choose the color of the thread and the desired font. This technique offers many more possibilities in terms of color and is better suited when it concerns a (detailed) logo. For example, a hamam towel with a name is ideal if you go to the sauna, you can easily find it again and the chance that someone else takes it (accidentally or not) is a lot smaller with embroidery ;).
Washing printed hammam towels
If you are going to wash the hamam towel for the first time, we recommend pulling the fringes extra tight, so that they do not come loose during washing. We also recommend that you first put the hamam towel in COLD water for about 12 hours before use, if possible with vinegar if it concerns colored towels. This is not necessary, but it improves the strength of the fibers, as well as the moisture absorption. The towel will also shrink less. Then wash the hamam towel at 40 degrees. Ironing reduces moisture absorption and the use of fabric softener can also ensure that the towels absorb less moisture.
